ImmPro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our team. We need someone who is willing to adapt and learn new techniques as needed by the company. Your initial responsibility will be to execute sample preparation and data analysis for experimental designs under our lead scientist, but you will be doing work in other areas like assay development, method development, and whatever else an early-stage startup might require. As a key member, you'll be working on a cross-disciplinary team to develop ImmPro’s core protein analysis platform for commercialization. These responsibilities include:
Contribute to the planning and execution of research and customer projects
Develop new enrichment and analytical processes for a wide range of proteins from biological materials
Optimize processes for cohort-level scale-up
Streamline processes to reduce the overall cost and improve efficiency of enrichment and characterization
Maintain accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results
Create and document new internal lab processes
We're looking for a candidate with the following required qualifications:
2-5 years of industry experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
Experience in a research or industrial laboratory setting
A demonstrated ability to design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments
The agility, curiosity, and drive to tackle projects varying from protein enrichment to analytical method development and everything in between
Additionally, an ideal candidate will also have:
Experience in analytical chemistry, specifically protein mass spectrometry, and ideally in top-down mass spectrometry
Experience in protein enrichment method development
Experience in protein enrichment and analytical chemistry in a research or industrial setting
